Keegan's Back
Newcastle seem to go from bad to worse with the re-hiring of Kevin Keegan. This is a manager who lost the plot when he was last in charge at Newcastle and who’s tactical naivety cost England dear during his spell at the helm. He done well at Fulham when he won the second division in 1999 but did have ridiculous amounts of money to spend thanks to Al Fayed. How long will Keegan get at the toon?... read more

Sam Allardyce Sacked
What a joke – Sam Allardyce being sacked after just eight months in charge at Newcastle. How the fans expect the club to be challenging for honors is beyond me when they put so much pressure on their managers to succeed, how can they expect success from a club that has seen 6 managers come and go through their revolving doors in 11 years. I hate to say it but look at Manchester United and Alex... read more

Thommo still on Transfer List
Well City won at Blackpool for the first time in nearly 40 years with what sounds like a great strike from Steve Thompson. Not much to say about the match by all accounts, Blackpool sounded like the better side but couldn’t convert any chances (Where have I heard that one before). Thommo has been playing well of late and seems to have a good understanding with Hasselbaink. In my opinion he was man of... read more

Cardiff City 4 Colchester United 1
At last a convincing home win after what some say were forced changes by Dave Jones. Rae was dropped to the bench with Ledley coming into Midfield to partner McPhail and Peter Whittingham taking Ledley’s place on the left. Another change was Capaldi being dropped to the bench with McNaughton in his place at left back. These changes were in my opinion, and I’m sure the opinions of many football... read more

Charlton 2 Cardiff City 0
Well a totally wasted trip to the Valley after another woeful display by city ended up in a three nil loss. Dave Jones at last dropped the ineffective Robbie Fowler bringing in Steve Thompson up front although he still included the equally ineffective and cumbersome Gavin Rae… and yet again he had another shocker. He has no presence in midfield, cannot keep the ball, cannot tackle, cannot shoot, and... read more

Cardiff City – Relegation Fodder
Cardiff City – Relegation Fodder, yes that’s right Mr Jones, Relegation fodder. I said at the start of the season and I will say it again: The Central Midfield is non existent allowing the opposition to run unhindered at times at our back four. Of course our back four has been poor all season but the lacklustre midfield is certainly not helping the cause. Can any body tell me what exactly Gavin Rae... read more

Liverpool Vs Cardiff City
At last a good gutsy performance from the bluebirds despite losing 2-1 against a team that has spent close to £50 Million pre-season. We can only hope that the good performance will be taken into the league where our form would suggest that we are heading for league 1. One of the main criticisms from David Giles is the the team is not ‘digging in’ contrasting the lacklusture attitude of some... read more

Ridsdale to quit Cardiff?
It looks as if Peter Ridsdale has offered to quit City because of the flack he is getting from a section of supporters. I personally think this is incredibility short sighted, is this ‘section’ of ‘supporters’ the same as those who sing one of our English players name lovingly for having done something useful (ok no one has done much this season!!) then the next minute are singing... read more

Shut It Fergie!!
How on earth can Alex Ferguson (sorry Sir Fergie) turn around and say that the Mancs don’t receive favouritism?? Manc Utd always were always playing on Sunday’s last season and Benitez is right to point this out. Do I need to go further?…. Lots of Pens for the home side at Old Trafford (do the away side get any?) Pedro Mendes disallowed goal at Old Trafford (Can you imagine that ever... read more
